DELIVERY INFORMATION

Delivery, collection & returns

Information about delivery, collection and refunds. Online ordering is not currently open; any available options and charges will be shown before an order can be placed.

1. Current availability

Online ordering is not currently open. Local delivery and courier delivery are disabled, and no delivery charges are currently being collected. Available fulfilment methods, service areas, fees and estimated timing will be shown before any order can be placed.

2. Local self-delivery

Planned fee: £2.00 per order. The intended area is within a five-mile straight-line radius of the Doncaster city-centre Market Place reference point. Eligibility estimates use postcode-centre coordinates, which are approximate and may not exactly match an individual address.

Planned delivery window: within two days. This service is currently disabled and cannot be selected at checkout. If it becomes available, the applicable delivery window and any service limitations will be shown before payment.

3. Courier delivery

Planned customer charge: £3.99 per order. Availability will depend on courier coverage, product suitability for shipping, parcel dimensions and weight, and safe packaging. This charge is not a guarantee that every destination or product can be shipped. Courier delivery is currently disabled and will not be offered until the service details are confirmed and the option is enabled.

4. Collection

Free collection is planned. If collection is offered, the collection point, available times, collection instructions and any holding period will be displayed before the option becomes available.

5. Receiving your order

Provide the correct address, postcode, contact details and any relevant delivery instructions at checkout. Please ensure someone can receive the food safely. Once enabled, the checkout will show the available method, fee and estimated timing before payment. If we expect a significant delay or cannot fulfil an order, we will contact you and explain the available options.

Follow any storage and use-by information supplied with the product. Do not eat food that appears unsafe or has been materially damaged in transit; contact us promptly.

6. Damage, incorrect orders and refunds

If a product arrives badly damaged, unsafe or not reasonably fit to eat, contact us as soon as reasonably possible using management@smithyybakes.uk. We will provide a full refund for the affected product; if the damage materially affects the order as a whole, we will provide a full refund for that order. Please include your order number and photographs if possible so we can understand what happened, but this request will not restrict your statutory rights.

If you receive the wrong product or an order is incomplete, contact us promptly. We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy in line with your statutory rights and the circumstances.

7. Change-of-mind cancellations and perishable food

Fresh bakes are perishable. Depending on the product and the point reached in preparation or fulfilment, a change-of-mind cancellation or return may not be available for food liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. This does not exclude remedies for damaged, faulty, unsafe or misdescribed goods or any other rights that the law does not allow us to remove. Any applicable cancellation limitation must be explained before you order.

8. Contact and availability

For questions or problems, email management@smithyybakes.uk and quote your order number if you have one.

Current availability: local delivery and courier delivery are disabled. Planned charges of £2.00 for local delivery and £3.99 for courier delivery are not active. Last reviewed: 10 October 2026.
